All textbook returns require PROOF OF DROP, COURSE CANCELLATION or WRITTEN FACULTY AUTHORIZATION and receipt in order to receive a refund.
If no proof is provided with return, store credit will be given. Books must be in “as sold” condition. Unwrapped books will be considered “used” and returned accordingly.
Access codes cannot be returned once they are unwrapped or open.
Ebooks purchased through the Monmouth University Store website are refundable within 14 day of purchase providing that no more than 10% of the book has been read or printed. Ebooks that include publisher courseware (webassign, mindtap, mylab, Wiley+, etc) are not refundable if the courseware has been activated.
All returns must be made before the end of the Add/Drop and must include register receipt and student ID card.
All other merchandise is returnable within one week (upon receipt of package if ordering online) and must be in “as sold” condition. Receipt is required.
Final sale and seasonal merchandise cannot be returned.
Software and hardware are not returnable once opened. We do not handle returns or repairs on defective computers or any other electronics. The warranty on these products is through the manufacturer and items must be returned to them.
Purchases made by check may require a clearing period of 7-10 days. Returns will be credited to the original form of payment.
